Doors

“Without going out of your door, You can know the ways of the world. Without peeping through your window, you can see the Way of Heaven. The farther you go, The less you know. Thus, the Sage knows without travelling, Sees without looking, And achieves without Ado.”
~Lao Tzu

Doors are the symbolism for the duality within the world; open – close, in – out, here – there. I am honored to have such reminders around me. I hope you enjoy this photos essay of the beautiful doors of Cusco.

Reminds me of the doors in Coloane, Macau. Those where the most amazing old and colorful doors I’ve seen. I’ve heard rumours that there’s not much left of them now, so hurry!
