5:09 – I’m not accustomed to waking up at 5:00 am but the early morning sunrise puts me in a state of awe.

6:20 – Arrived at the clay lick viewing point, and now the waiting begins…

7:35 – Feeling empathy with a Fellow traveler as we both wait for the birds to arrive.

8:15 – Watching the turtle extends my patience.

8:55 – Heading back to the lodge. Sometimes things don’t go as planned.

9:05 – Returned hungry and hurting, where’s the real food?

9:10 – Creepy dead animals give me an unsettling feeling.

12:15- “Left on my own, just up from a nap, Nothing left to do, Except take a crap.”

1:15 – Just in case. But we’ve already been rained on, but just in case.

2:00 – Safe. But from what?

3:20 – I’m amazed at how delicate the mushrooms are, and how they are surviving in the jungle.

4:02 – Amazed at the dry tentacle squid looking tree. The jungle excites me.

4:25 – Look up! Monkey alert!

4:30 – Maybe he shouldn’t have been standing there. The chances? Monkey poop on the hand! Classic!!!

5:12 – I feel unsettled after seeing the jaguar track in the jungle. I am nervous about coming face to face with that beast.

6:10 – Tarantula!

6:40 – I love hiking in the dark!

6:40 – Mom and her soup. It’s been a good – full day.
