Mother’s day is always one of my favorite days, even before I became a mother myself. In my early 20′s I worked in restaurants, which was always the busiest day so my mom and I always celebrated mother’s day on a different day, which made it kinda special.

It was so wonderful catching up with my old friend Robin. I haven’t seen her in about 5 years. Robin and I have know each other since we were 2 years old and even though we are polar opposites, it never seems to get in the way. Our friendship spans over 40 years, which makes it even more precious.
