Lainie & Miro in the beautiful Cocora Valley at Salento

8:45 on Saturday morning we left our cozy Salento hostel to catch an open-top World-War II era jeep to the Valle de Cocora. From the town center we found a driver who was waiting to fill his vehicle with six willing passengers before he drove the ancient jeep to the valley. Altitude Hiking Adventures
We lived in the town of Manizales for 5 weeks, which was a lovely experience onto it self, but most tourists come to Manizales not for the city, but to use as a base for treks into the Los Nevados National Natural Park.
