For Their Country

Last week we stumbled upon a gathering in the main plaza, here in Cusco, called Plaza de Armas. Usually the weekends are bustling with crowds, tourists with cameras, indigenous women and children carrying dressed baby lambs and vendors of all kinds. But this Saturday the plaza was dedicated to the men and women of Peru’s military. Here’s a photo essay of what we saw:
