Art, drawing, sketching oh my!
Yes! I finally get to use that ‘line’! You see, I live upstairs and I’ve been sketching again. I’ve gone through periods in my life when I have no desire to draw, to do anything creative outside of the ‘digital’ confines. ( I worked with graphic design in some capacity for almost 20 years, after all.) But traveling has given me permission to be creative again, and I’ve been inspired to start drawing. I actually feel that through exercising my creativity I am able to experience the present moment. And anything that firmly plants me in the ‘NOW’ is such a gift.
So, I wanted to share with you what I’ve been working on in the video below.
If you haven’t watched the video yet of why I named my son ‘Miro’, I recommend you do. I talk about my experiences as a child, identifying with being an artist and how the artist Joan Miro changed my perspective on life, forever.
