About A Big Project
Found this amazing project and we’re inspired. Watch this video below: We are participating, are you?
In the summer of 2012, this project will bring groups of friends and families together from every country and every culture, and ask them to explore the answers to four questions…
If the world as it currently exists were to radically shift tomorrow, and we could start all over again:
1) What would you want to continue from this world?
2) What would you NOT want to continue from this world?
3) What could people do differently to get to that better world?
4) What is one thing you will commit to doing differently to get to that better world?
We will then look for the common ideas where all of our visions for a better world overlap and call on artists to translate those ideas into songs, pictures and other means of creative expression. On December 20, 2012 (the day before the Mayan Calendar predicts a global shift in thinking) we will set off an international explosion of art and music to bring a new sense of hope, possibility and direction for global progress.
Spark The Evolution
Arab Spring. Occupy Wall Street. Uprisings in Zimbabwe, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and across the world. Millions of people agree things cannot stay the way they are. A Big Project is building on the momentum for change by uniting people from every country around four questions to explore a vision for a new way forward.
Over the next 8 months, A Big Project will accomplish the following:
1. Spark conversations to clarify where our visions for a better world overlap.
2. Inspire individual action and innovative projects to move us closer towards that place of overlap.
3. Build empathy and international cooperation through creativity and the arts.
How will we accomplish these? We don’t need money. We don’t even need much time. But we DO need you to pledge to invite your networks! Click on the Pledge Here button to help us reach our goals.
