Miro’s May update

Miro’s May update
May 3, 2012 Miro Sevin Siegel

Hello viewers!

I just wanted to pop in and give you a quick update about how my life is going.

Life down here in Peru is REALLY calm, and more often that not I stay in bed until noon. This doesn’t mean we don’t do anything, It just means we don’t do anything before 12. (Quick round of applause for my mom, thanks for letting me sleep in.)

And we do do a lot of stuff. There are so many museums and art galleries in Lima it would be a shame not to take advantage of that. In fact, only a few weeks ago my mom and I went to the museum of weaponry. It was pretty epic, considering they had authentic katana’s (Samurai swords).

Also, we found a bagel ^_^

Now, as for my lack of posts lately, I have a good reason. I’m working on something pretty big, and it has something to do with my story that I started a while back. As you may have guessed by this point, I’m working on finishing it and turning it into a novel. It’s very exciting stuff! (If you end up seeing the finished version a long time from now, video games are to blame.)
That’s pretty much it for my little update. I hope you all are doing well. Also, enjoy this random picture of a cat. Bye!

Hi, my name is Jackie, and I just showed this blog to my 8-yr old son. He thinks it’s cool you went to a weaponry museum. He has a question: have you seen any guinea pigs running around? We have two as pets here in Chicago, and he and his brother think it’s awrsome that they run wild in Peru. Maybe not in the urban areas, though. Have a great day!

Very awesome!  Good luck with the book!  I admire the discipline it takes to write and travel with your kid.  Will look forward to the launch!
