Miro’s Garden! Chili, not Peru.

Miro’s Garden! Chili, not Peru.

Here’s another post! Enjoy!

A few days after we planted the lettuce we planted some chili’s. This was a much less controlled project, and now they are like wild grass. They are tangled, and quite strong. After about 5 weeks, the chili’s have started to develop bark, and they are MUCH stronger  than the lettuce. They are about 3 inches high, and sit in a long plastic bottle. The seeds are very easy to get.

NUTRITIONAL VALUES: Chili’s have anti-diabetic properties. It is a high concentration of vitamin C. They also have Vitamin A, Flvonoids, Potassium, Manganese, Iron, Magnesium, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B1, and it also helps with stress. Here’s the list of minerals.

  • 240% Vitamin C
  • 39% Vitamin B6
  • 32% Vitamin A
  • 13% Iron
  • 14% Copper
  • 7% Potassium

Surprisingly they have no cholesterol.
